The Cecil County Public Library is beginning to start it's new Fall classes... If you have kids or like to read, I suggest you take a look at what they have to offer. I know I've said in the past that my daughter has loved all of the baby classes like Hello Baby, Baby Steps and Movers and Groovers. Mrs. Susan at the Rising Sun branch is her favorite "Library Teacher". Here is the schedule for classes at Rising Sun for babies and toddlers.
BABIES: Hello Baby!
Mondays at 10:30 AM—9/24 – 10/29
A gentle introduction to language and literature using a blend of music, rhymes, lap bounces and stories for pre-walking babies with a caregiver.
TODDLERS: Baby Steps
Tuesdays at 10:30 AM—9/25 – 10/30
A lively combination of music, rhymes, activities and stories for one year olds with caregiver. "Stay and Play" afterwards.
Movers and Groovers
Wednesdays at 10:30 AM—9/26 – 10/31
A dynamic class filled with music, rhymes, stories, and movement activities. Ages 2 - 3 1/2 with a caregiver. "Stay and Play" afterwards.
