Here is what I am looking for this week...

Diapers (yes, I know, again!) and Fruits and Veggies...

Check back later in the week to see where I was able to find the best deals on these items.  Last week didn't work out so well with Diapers, so I'm still searching for a good bargain.

Just a heads up, this week I am looking for the best deals on

Diet Coke and Diapers....

What a great combination.  I'm running low of my favorite beverage and haven't gotten my free coke coupons yet, so I have to shop around.  I also need a pack or two of diapers if I can find some decent deals this week.  Lady G is pretty much potty trained so I haven't bothered with buying any, but we are down to our last pack and I don't want to run out and PAY FULL PRICE!!!!

Diet Coke:
At ShopRite this week, all Coke 12 packs are on sale for 5/$10 - that's $2.00 a piece people.... That's an amazing price that you won't find very often.  There is a catch, you have to spend $10 to get the sale price and you must buy 5.  No biggy, pick up some milk and a few other items with the great sales this week and bam - WIN WIN!!!!
Check out Cindy's deals here on Living Rich with Coupons for this weeks ShopRite match ups.  Also, MD and DE ShopRite's don't fully double coupons.  They will double up to $1.00.  So if your coupon is for $.75, it will not double to $1.50, it will double to $1.00.  Stinks, I know.  Make sure to double check the final prices, because Cindy lives in NJ and they fully double there.

Diapers:
Bad News... IMO there aren't any great deals on diapers this week.  I did read on a blogs comments section that ACME has the Huggies Blue Jean Diapers marked down to $4.99.  I might see if I can find those.  Other than that, I'm gonna hope for better sales for next week.  Otherwise... I don't even wanna say it.

around the county.  I'll do my best to get around to all of the stores.

This week, I'm not really looking for anything in particular, but there are a few good deals at ACME, Rite Aid, CVS, Walgreens and Martins.  I don't have to have anything, but I'll  keep you posted if I find anything DREAMY...

Soda....

Many of you are aware of my slight addiction to Diet Coke and we can never have enough of it in the house.  So, I’m gonna see what I can find this week.  

I can remember the days of 5/$10 on 12-packs.... where or where has the time gone.  

Can’t find it that good anymore.  Keep watching to see where the best deals are this week.

Here’s what I was able to find.  Don’t forget there were Pepsi Brand coupons in last weekends inserts.  Also, concentrate on Unit Price.  It is easiest to measure in can packs and 2 liters because the volume is always the same.  Bottles vary greatly now a days from drink to drink.  I will put the unit price in (parenthesis).

Martins

7up, Canada Dry, A & W or Sunkist 12 packs on sale 3/$11 ($3.66 each/.30 can)
Pepsi 2 Liters $.99 limit 5

Final Decision:

1. Because I am a Coke fan, and they just so happen to be the least expensive of all canned soda this week - Target and Rite Aid both have the for $.22/can.  At Target I can get 3 Diet Cokes and I get 1 free Coke Zero (husband will drink it).  At Rite Aid, I have to front the $13 dollars and get $2 dollars in rewards back, but I’m also able to get 4 packs of Diet Coke.  
2. Pick up a few of the $.99 2 litter Pepsi’s at CVS or price match at Wal-Mart if you don’t feel like making it out to CVS.  It can never hurt to have a few 2 liters laying around, you never know when you’ll need them.
3. Always pay attention to Unit Price (the cost per item).  Soda prices vary so much and so does there packaging.

Hatfield Boneless Ham Steak 8 oz  $2.50

Pay as low as 50¢ each! - If you have a ShopRite close by, these are on sale for $2.00 this week, so FREE

Giant Chicken Breasts $1.99/lb

This is a stock up price to me and you can only get this price in the 4-5 lb packages.

Giant Porterhouse or T-Bone Steaks $5.99/lb

This is a savings of $3.50/lb, so sounds good.  I don’t usually by steak, so I’m not positive.  You have to buy this in the 4-5lb package as well.

Hatfield Simply Tender Pork Loins - B1G1F

Use two $2.00 off 1 coupons here

Should make for some really good savings and these are so easy to just throw in the crock pot for dinner.

ACME

Johonsonville Chicken Sausage - $3.99

Use the $1./1 coupon for Johnsonville Smoked Chicken Sausage from the 9/11 RP

Pay $2.99 - I’ve never tried this but it looks interesting!

Sea Cuisine - $5.99

Use the $2/1 coupon for High Liner Sea Cuisine 

Pay $3.99 each! - These are really good.

I always find the best marked down meat at ACME.  Just Sunday, I was able to get 2 pounds of Oscar Mayor lunch meat for $6.00.  That's $3.00 a pound!!!! Look for the white ACME stickers stuck on the meat packages for $1.00 or $2.00 off.  Just make sure you use them within the date suggested.  Also, don’t forget to stack Manufacturer coupons with the discounted meat.  Awesome deals.  

Target

I also find really great markdowns at Target on Meat.  Look in the meat section for the red stickers for $1.00 or $2.00 off.  Just like ACME, stack some coupons if you can.  

Redners

Skinless/Boneless Chicken Breasts $1.98/lb - only sold in the family pack (probably 4-5 lbs.)

Final Decision:

1. I didn’t find any great buys on ground beef anywhere which I was disappointed.  Maybe it will be next week, just like the Cereal deal.  - There are awesome deals on Cereal at ACME this week.  Make sure you check that out.  
2. Loved my mark downs at ACME and picked up two of the Sea Cuisines.  They really are good and fish is healthy right?
3. I’m gonna pick up the B1G1F Hatfield Pork Loins at Martins with the $2.00 off coupons instead of the Ham Steaks.  I much prefer Pork Loin to Ham Steak.
4. Get a package of Chicken at Martins and split it up to freeze.  
5. I’ll swing by Target this week and hope for some sales on markdown ground beef.  Fingers Crossed.

2. At ACME, I'm going with the General Mills Honey Nut Cheerios (I have a coupon from the mail for $.75 off, doubles to $1.50, so $.50 for a box)

That isn't a lot, but the deals aren't that great, so 4 boxes of cereal will do until a better sale comes around.  What are you buying this week?
