Free Food Fridays...9/30 edition

Man, tomorrow is October...
Time goes by so fast and my little peanut ball is growing up so quick.  But I sure am loving this weather and that means more time to play outside and take walks with little G!

Here are some food deals around the area.  Have a great weekend!

  • Once again Chili's is offering up the $35 dollar meal deal with one appetizer, two meals, one dessert and two margaritas.  Click here for more information.  I'm kinda thinking that maybe they should just make this part of their menu, they advertise it a lot.
  • TGI Fridays has a coupon for 20% off your bill.  Good through 10/5.  Click here for more information.
  • Restaurant.com is continuing it's 90% off deal through today.  So if you forgot, LIKE I DID, consider yourself lucky.  Click here for more information.
  • Baja Fresh has some great coupons available.  The only one I know of is in Bel Air, MD.  Click here for more information.
  • Denny's has a free cheese quesidilla.  Click here for more information.  This coupon is good through November 7th.  Thanks Coupon App.
  • Don Pablo's is having a football special.  On the weekends, you can get $5.00 off your $15.00 purchase as well as other bar specials.  Click here for more information.

Free Greeting Card from Cardstore.com

Collin at Hip2Save posted about this earlier today and I am just now getting to it and it still works.  Its a promo card for a free greeting card from Cardstore.com.

Enter Promo Code FBFC929 at Check Out and everything is free, no credit card information, no shipping fees, nothing...

Great company and card comes quick.  Think about upcoming holidays, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, etc.

Wow, $25.00 Gift Certificates for $1.00 at Restaurant.com

I know I've mentioned Restaurant.com before, but today it is super important that you think about it.  Today only, they are running a promotion for 90% off.  That means you can purchase a $25.00 Gift Certificate for only $1.00.  Even better, go through Ebates and get an additional 15% off.

This means, you pay $.85 for a $25.00 gift certificate.

Restaurant.com Weekly Promo Offer 125 X 125
Definitely take advantage of this.  It is a super deal and you can't beat it.  Make sure to read the fine print of each certificate and look in Harford County and Delaware too.  Also, think of places you might be going to visit and look there.

Here's some good ones I found.
Pat's Pizzeria is a great deal.
But it's only for Harford County Pat's.
Sad that Unwined doesn't have any $25.00 Gift Certificates.  $10 will have to do!

Martins Coupons and Deals for Week of 9/25

I stopped by Martins to check out the coupons from the coupon machine last night (on my way to pick up my free pizza) and here are the coupons printing this week:

  • Save $.50 on your next purchase of any book or magazine
  • Save $.50 on your next purchase of $5 or more from our Carry Out Cafe
  • Save $1.00 on your next purchase of $10 or more from our meat department
  • Save $.50 on your next purchase of $7 from our Health and Beauty Care Department
Not super impressed.  I might use the meat coupon and purchase some meat.  Here are some of the meat sales:
  •  Buy 1 Get 1 Free Roast sale.
  • Pork Butt Roast $1.79/lb
  • Perdue Oven Stuffer Roaster $.99/lb
  • 80% ground beef $2.49/lb - Not that great
  • Rib Steak $7.99/lb
Combine some of the meat sales on the back page (Buy any 3, Save $5.00  instantly) and then your coupon for some extra savings.  Still nothing I would RUN out and buy.

I didn't really find any of the deals at Martin's to be out of this world this week.  I did stop at ACME and picked up a few items. This just might not be the week to grocery shop.

Free Artisan Pizza from Domino's - UPDATE

Dinner was wonderful last night... I didn't have to cook and it was FREE.
This is what it looks like and it was actually really good.  Different from their normal pizza.  The crust wasn't super garlicy and the you could enjoy the pizza.  It was a little spicy, but I liked it.  Make sure you try and get one for yourself.

So, I'm loving the plans for dinner tonight....

Domino's is giving away free Artisan Pizzas on Facebook.  If you win, you have to redeem your coupon today.  No biggy, go ahead and order it and schedule it to be made later, around dinner time.  Here's what to do:
  • Go here and like them on facebook.
  • Follow the directions to get a free pizza.
  • If you don't get it the first time, refresh your page.  It took me 2 tries.
  • Finish ordering your pizza online and schedule a delivery or pickup.  (You can order now and pick up later)
As I am writing this post, it looks like they have given all of their pizzas away for the day.  This is running through 10/3 (not over the weekend though).  Try again tomorrow.  Here is the schedule of how many they are giving out and the rules.

Thanks, Living Rich With Coupons

What are we buying this week? 9/24 edition

Just a heads up, this week I am looking for big bargains on
cereal....
The pantry is looking pathetic and needs a restock big time.  So if you also need cereal, keep watching and I'll let you know where the best deals are this week!!!

Here's what I found...
looks like this isn't the best week to buy cereal, but it's gonna have to do!!!
Any cereal below $1.00, I consider to be a stock up price.

At Rite Aid:
Kellogg’s Cereal 8.7-16.5 oz. 4/$10
Use the $1/3 coupon from the 8.28 RP
Pay $9
Get a $2 +Up Reward (when you buy 4; limit 2 offers)
Pay as low as $1.75 each!

At CVS:
Kellogg’s Raisin Bran Crunch, Frosted Flakes, Mini Wheats, Crunchy Nut 10.8-18.2 oz or Special K 12-19.5 oz $2.49
Use the $1/2 coupon found in the 8/28 RP or 9/11 RP or the $0.50/1 coupon found in the CVS insert in the 9/25 SS
Pay as low as $1.99!

At Walgreens:
Kellogs Cereal, froot loops, frosted flakes, rice krispies and raisin bran 2/$4
Use the $1/2 coupon found in the 8/28 RP or 9/11 RP
Pay as low as $1.50 each

At Shop Rite:
General Mills Cereal - $1.99
$1/2 Select General Mills Cereals, exp. 9/24/11 (SS 08/14/11) $0.75/1 Wheaties or Wheaties Fuel Cereal printable
$1/3 Select General Mills Cereals, exp. 10/22/11 (GM 09/11/11)
$0.75/1 Cookie Crisp Cereal via Cellfire
$0.75/1 Wheaties or Wheaties Fuel Cereal via Cellfire
Pay as low as free after coupon & cellfire wyb Wheaties

At Martins:
General Mills Cereal honey Nut Cheerios, Banana Nut Cheerios, Fruity Cheerios, Kix, Cookie Crisp, or Reese's Puffs - $3.00 -Martins $1/2 General Mills Cereal printable
$1/2 Select General Mills Cereals, exp. 9/24/11 (SS 08/14/11)
Kellogg's Cereal - 3 for $5 (must buy 3)-
Frosted Flakes, Froot Loops, Rice Krispies, Corn Pops, Cinnabon or Corn Flakes
$1/3 Kellogg's Cereals: Apple Jacks, Corn Pops, Froot Loops, Honey Smacks, or Frosted Flakes, 8.7 oz+ 08/28/11 RP Insert (exp 10/09/11)
Pay as low as $1.33 each

At ACME: General Mills Cereal-Luck Charms, Cocoa Puffs, & Honey Nut Cheerios - $2.00
$1/2 Select General Mills Cereals, exp. 9/24/11 (SS 08/14/11)
$1/3 Kellogg's Apple Jacks, Corn Pops, Froot Loops, Honey Snacks or Kellogg's Frosted Flakes Cereal, exp. 10/9/11 (RP 08/28/11)
Pay as low as $2.49 each after coupon
Final Decision:
  1. I'm gonna try and pick up the Wheaties at Shop Rite later this week, for free, I hope and the Trix (I have a previously printed coupon from a Martins run for $.50 off, doubles to $1.00, so $1.00 per box).
  2. At ACME, I'm going with the General Mills Honey Nut Cheerios (I have a coupon from the mail for $.75 off, doubles to $1.50, so $.50 for a box)

That isn't a lot, but the deals aren't that great, so 4 boxes of cereal will do until a better sale comes around.  What are you buying this week?

Need help looking for the best priced item?  Let me know and I'll help you do all the research.

$5 off $25.00 purchase at Staples

Staples has a coupon good through tomorrow, 9/26, for $5.00 off any $25.00 purchase.  This is a great coupon for things that you always need like INK.

I try and wait for a coupon like this and then buy my ink for my printer with it.  This coupon does exclude HP ink, lucky me, I have a EPSON (joking of course, not impressed with my printer).  Combined with my Staples Rewards, I'm hoping to get a good deal.

Here are sites on where to find the best deals on grocery stores in the county:

Thursday's at the Mall... 9/22 edition

I was really excited to head out to the Mall today for several reasons...

  • It was so nice to catch up and see my dear friend Meredith and her daughter.  Baby G just loves playing and seeing her every week.  We did story time as usual and then off to lunch in the food court.  Oh, any she brought me a bunch of coupons... love her.
  • I had a coupon from Auntie Anne's for a free pretzel when you buy pretzel nuggets.  So yummy pretzels were for lunch today.  Mr. B will have a nice surprise when he wakes up to his free pretzel.
  • Free Ice Cream at Carvel....However, that didn't work out as planned.  The Carvel and Cinnabon are connected and the lady had no idea what I was referring to.  I think I surprised her that she even sold ice cream. So no free ice cream, but I did mention something on Carvel's facebook page just to let others know not to waste their time and Carvel replied that they would send me a coupon instead.  - SO FREE ICE CREAM AFTER ALL.
  • After lunch we let the girls actually walk around the mall, it took forever and baby G ducked into every store. Back in the strollers they went.
  • I ran into Banana Republic.  They were having a sale.  Such nice clothes, but nothing popped out at me.
  • Stopped in Sephora for my free birthday gift - check out the picture below. (Happy Birthday Beautiful Vanilla Birthday Cake shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath) I'll talk more about birthday freebies in the next week or so, look for it to find out how you can get fun birthday freebies.
  • 2nd to last stop - Aveda, for two free samples (Hand Relief and Damage Remedy) I talked about here and here. (Thanks KCL) Super fun.
  • Off to the play area for baby G to run off some steam and then last stop Target.  I didn't really find any awesome deals, I was looking to take advantage of my $5.00 off Merona pants coupon, but didn't find anything worth purchasing (or getting for free).
Love my Thursdays at the Mall.

How to Shop at ACME and My Deals of the Week- UPDATE

Here is some information on how to shop and receive the best deals at ACME (one of my favorite stores):

File:Acme Markets logo.jpg

Location/Hours:  ACME is located in Elkton (open 7am- 11pm), Oxford, PA (open 7am - 10pm) and Newark, DE (open 6am - 11pm).

Sales Dates:  The sales ad runs from Friday to Thursday.

Website: View Sales Flyer, Print Coupons, Order Food, Load coupons onto Store Card.  Go here to print coupons and load e-coupons onto your store card.  E-coupons are under the avenue program.

Coupon Policy:  Click here to view ACME's coupon policy.  Here's what is important: ACME will double coupons up to $.99 (example:  a $.75 coupon will double to $1.50, a $1.00 coupon will remain $1.00).  You can stack an ACME coupon with a manufacture coupon.  You can use Internet coupons under $5.00 value but cannot use competitor coupons.  UNLIKE MARTINS, FOOD LION AND REDNERS, ACME WILL DOUBLE MORE THAN 1 OF THE SAME COUPON IN THE SAME TRANSACTION - THIS IS AWESOME!

ACME often puts out its own coupon books and they are usually really easy to find (by the register, by the front door, at customer service).  Right now, ACME has a coupon book out called 'fresh for fall' and it has over $10.00 in coupons you can use:

  • Save $1.00 off the purchase of any variety of two or more ACME Brand flavored coffee creamers, 15 oz and larger.

All of these coupons expire 9/30/11.

In addition to ACME coupons, you can sign up for the ACME email and instantly get a $5.00 off $25.00 coupon to use.  That's major savings right away.  Use that money towards meat, produce or things that don't normally go on sale or have a coupon.  DON'T FORGET TO DO THIS!!!!

ACME will email you once a week with the upcoming sales flyer and ideas for what you might be interested as well as coupons available for items in the store.

Jiffy Lube $5.00 off coupon and Denny's Free Quesadilla

Here is a coupon for $5.00 off a Jiffy Lube Signature Oil change.  It is good through 1/1/12.

I believe the only Jiffy Lube in the county is off Route 40 across from the Big Elk Mall, next to Denny's.

While your waiting for you car to get finished, hop on over to Denny's and enjoy a free cheese quesadilla with this coupon here.  Valid through 11/7/11.  Denny's is also located in North East at the Flying J and in Perryville next to the outlets.

Free Cat Treats at Target

So I was in Target today getting a few deals (Mainly my $1.00 t-shirt) and getting out of the house with little G and just happened to get my new Target Mobile Coupons while in the store....

If you don't know anything about Target Mobile Coupons, you have to have a smart phone and they send you a text message with coupons attached about twice a month.  All you have to do is show the cashier your phone (the bar code), they'll scan it and it's just like a paper coupon.  Wa-lah.  If you need to sign up, go here!  At the bottom right hand side, you'll see a place to enter your phone number.  Sign up, and just wait for that wonderful text.

Anyways, here are the new coupons good through 9/30:

  • 20% off Dyson Vacuum, Canister or Upright
  • 20% off Circo apparel item
  • 20% off Acne Free skin care item
  • $2.00 off Sonia Kashuk cosmetics item
  • $.75 off Frozen seafood item from Van de Kamp's or Mrs. Paul's
  • $.50 off 8 oz Market pantry cream cheese
  • $1.00 off Purina Pet Treats, Whisker Lickin's or T-Bonz

The Purina Whisker Lickins Pet Treats were on sale for $.99.  So after mobile coupon, FREE!!!!
(This means cat treats for the Wilson family, we don't have any cats)

Don't forget, with Target coupons, you can combine both a Manufacture coupon and a Target coupon for the most savings.
