A thought...

So I was catching up on some magazines and watching Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and came across this interesting statement from the August 2011 Woman's Day magazine:

People using a credit card are willing to spend up to twice as much for an item as people paying cash.

I'm pretty sure that has to be true... It is just so much easier to swipe your card.  However, I wonder if this is only true for credit cards and does not include debit cards?
